Below are just some examples of our initiatives and ongoing work towards greater positive sustainability for our environment.
Scrap Metal Recycling
Scrap metal recycling services in bins and trucks. Recovery rates vary depending on the purity of the metal and any contaminants, however most clean metal has a recovery rate of almost 100%.
Road Sweeper Waste
We collect, clean, process and reuse Road Sweeper Waste in the production of asphalt, achieving a 92% recovery rate.
Lead Acid Batteries
Providing a lead acid battery recycling service for vehicles and equipment, where over 90% of all material is recovered.
Lithium & Alkaline Batteries
Recycling services for standard lithium and alkaline batteries in office buildings and temporary site offices. The components from these products are reused in the production of new batteries and other industrial items.
Lighting
Recycling of fluorescent tubes, globes, lamps and LED tubes. The components from these products are reused in the production of new lighting.
E-Waste
E-Waste recycling services for recycling computers, monitors, mobile phones and other electronic equipment. Materials from these products are recovered and reused in the manufacturing of new appliances.
Packaging Waste
Recycling of packaging waste including polystyrene, shrink wrap, cardboard and paper. All of these materials are reprocessed and reused.
Pallets
Recycling of used pallets, where pallets with minor damage are repaired and put back into use. Untreated non-repairable pallets are shredded for the purpose of composting and / or the manufacture of fibre board.
PVC Conduits & Piping
Recycling of PVC conduit and piping off-cuts to be reprocessed into new PVC products.
Empty Chemical Containers
Recycling services for empty chemical containers including IBC's and all plastic and steel drums of any size. Non-damaged containers are refurbished and reused (subject to material type recycling eligibility).
Damaged Noise Panels
Recycling services for damaged cement board noise panels, which are segregated, crushed, blended and reused for road base and drainage purposes.
Hydrocarbon Liquid Waste
Oil recovery services for hydrocarbon waste (oily water). The waste oil is separated, reclaimed and refined into a new product for reuse.
Cement & Refractory Residues
Recycling and reuse options for excess cement in agitator trucks and fine refractory residual waste material. These products are blended with other recycled material to manufacture retaining wall blocks.
Bulk Bags
Recycling services for used Bulk Bags (polypropylene). These bags are cleaned and baled at a recycling facility in preparation to be despatched to local or off-shore manufacturing plants to produce new value and PP products.
